Channel fixing on every size
Horizontal and vertical channel fixing is available in Vinyl Composite across all three sizes, for posts, barriers and gates as well as doors.

From self-adhesive vinyl to fully waterproof vinyl composite, suited to indoor and outdoor doors.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between this sign and a standard 'Close this door at night' sign?
What's the difference between this sign and a standard 'Close this door at night' sign?
This version adds an emergency instruction to the routine one, so it covers doors that must also stay shut if a fire emergency occurs, not just overnight.
Does this sign replace dedicated fire door signage?
Does this sign replace dedicated fire door signage?
No - it covers the closure instruction for this specific door; it does not replace fire exit, extinguisher or other dedicated fire safety signs required elsewhere on site.
Which size suits a plant room or storage door?
Which size suits a plant room or storage door?
The 200mm x 300mm size is a common middle ground; go larger, to 300mm x 400mm, if the door is approached from further away.
Can this be fixed to a gate or roller shutter instead of a hinged door?
Can this be fixed to a gate or roller shutter instead of a hinged door?
Yes - the Vinyl Composite option has horizontal or vertical channel fixing on all three sizes, so it mounts to posts, barriers and shutters as well as flat doors.
Is the photoluminescent option worth it for a plant room with no windows?
Is the photoluminescent option worth it for a plant room with no windows?
Yes - it charges under normal ambient lighting and stays visible if the power fails, which suits rooms that may lose lighting during an emergency.
What is the sign material made from, and is it durable outdoors?
What is the sign material made from, and is it durable outdoors?
Vinyl composite is fully waterproof and holds up outdoors; rigid PVC and foam PVC also suit outdoor use, while self-adhesive vinyl is best kept to smooth indoor surfaces.
Does this sign need to be combined with other fire safety signage?
Does this sign need to be combined with other fire safety signage?
Yes, typically - use it alongside fire exit and fire action signage as part of a wider fire safety scheme, not as a stand-alone measure.
