Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

Last updated: April 2025
Next review due: April 2026

Our Commitment

Street Solutions UK Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chains. We fully support the objectives of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and uphold ethical, transparent, and fair working practices.

We take a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour, debt bondage, child labour, and human trafficking.

Our Business and Supply Chain

We are a UK-based supplier of site safety, traffic management, and street furniture products, operating from our warehouse in Greater Manchester. While our operations are UK-based, many of our products or components are sourced globally, including from countries where labour risks may be higher.

Steps We Take to Prevent Modern Slavery

We have implemented the following measures to help prevent modern slavery:

  • Supplier Due Diligence – All new suppliers undergo checks prior to onboarding, including confirmation of compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

  • Right to Terminate – We reserve the right to terminate supplier contracts if we become aware of non-compliance or unethical practices.

  • Supply Chain Risk Awareness – We consider country of origin and sector risks during sourcing and maintain awareness of emerging global issues that could impact labour standards.

  • Internal Training – Modern slavery awareness is included in employee inductions and further training is planned to include ILO Forced Labour Indicators.

  • Whistleblowing and Reporting – Staff and suppliers are encouraged to raise concerns in confidence directly with senior management. We are committed to protecting whistleblowers from retaliation.

Ongoing Monitoring and Improvement

We are committed to continuously improving our approach to combatting modern slavery. Over the next 12 months, we plan to:

  • Formalise a supplier risk assessment process

  • Expand internal training and awareness

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Explore extending grievance mechanisms beyond direct suppliers (Tier 1)
