What is a floor mounted impact protector?

A bollard, hoop guard, guard rail or racking protector that bolts down to a solid floor. It takes the hit from forklifts and site vehicles so columns, racking, walls and pedestrian routes are not damaged.

How are they fixed down?

Through a base plate into concrete using anchor bolts, which we supply alongside the products. The slab has to be sound and deep enough to hold the fixings, so check the floor before you order.

Should I choose steel or flexible protection?

Steel suits heavy traffic where a rigid stop is wanted. Flexible and plastic systems absorb the impact and return to shape, which protects the vehicle and the floor fixings. Our team can talk the options through.
