Feet and ballast

Every temporary fence panel needs a base to stand in. Rubber block fencing feet are the standard Heras style block. Hi-vis Heras ballast blocks add weight to a run and are stocked in 20kg and 40kg. Ready filled sand bags in white polypropylene are the loose alternative where fixed blocks do not suit.

Clips and anti-tamper fixings

Coupler clips hold two panels together. Where the fence has to resist interference, anti-tamper clips go on instead and are undone with the matching anti-tamper fencing clip spanner rather than by hand. Q-clips are also stocked for Heras fencing. An anti-lift device stops a panel being lifted out of its foot and removed.

Bracing

A long run of fencing catches the wind and needs bracing back. The angled support brace and the support brace with pegs both hold a run upright. The pegged version fixes into the ground, so it suits soft ground rather than a hard surface.

Screening and hoarding

Debris netting comes on 2m x 50m rolls and screens a fence line. Infill sections for hoarding panels are made in 2m and 2.4m to match the panel run, and a hoarding mesh extension panel adds height to an existing hoarding.

Marking off the area

Non adhesive barrier tape in red and white comes in 500m x 75mm rolls for cordoning off. SlotBlock water filled barrier sets in red and white are 3.5m and give a physical line where a fence panel is not the right answer.
