What is GRP grating used for?

GRP grating is a glass reinforced plastic panel used for walkways, platforms, trench covers and access decks. It does not rust, it is light enough to handle without lifting gear, and the moulded surface gives grip underfoot.

What thicknesses are available?

Open mesh grating is stocked at 25mm, 38mm and 50mm thick. Mini mesh panels, which have a tighter grid, are supplied at 4038mm by 1262mm. Send us the span and the loading and we will advise which panel suits.

How is GRP grating fixed down?

Clips and clamps secure the panels to the supporting steelwork, including C clips, M clips, J clamps and 45mm square fixing clips. Angle profile is available for edging. Tell us about your frame and we will match the fixings.
