4” THRESHOLD ACCESS RAMPS
The Threshold Wheelchair Ramp is an essential mobility solution that has changed the lives of thousands of Street Solutions UK customers.
Manufactured from a blend of recycled PVC and rubber the threshold access ramps are a quick and affordable way to conveniently level up your accessibility in and around the home or workplace.
With a black finish the threshold ramps provide a premium look and feel without the eye watering cost, aimed to be available to all customers with one goal of assisting your accessibility in mind.
Perfect for use with both manual and electric wheelchairs the threshold ramp will be a welcomed addition for your accessibility needs.
DIMENSIONS
The threshold access ramps come in the one size with the following dimensions:
⊛ Height 100mm – This is the size of threshold or step that the ramp will safely get you up.
⊛ Width 900mm – This shows how wide each threshold ramp is.
⊛ Length 590mm – This is the measurement from the front of the threshold ramp where the bolt holes are, through to the back where the ramp will meet the step.
Each wheelchair access ramp weighs 19kg making it super stable under load without the worry of the ramp moving around.
With this weight the wheelchair access ramps are still moveable by a single person, meaning that they can be moved between uses if required.
INDOOR & OUTDOOR USAGE
The threshold access ramp has been carefully designed for usage both indoors and outdoors with a completely weatherproof material that is aimed to keep you safe without the possibility of accidents.
To do this we have created the threshold ramp with drainage channels of the ramp face; these are fine grooves that rapidly funnel water away preventing water build up with a non-slip feature. The gradual sloping edge on the wheelchair access ramp then helps any liquids flow easily out down the sides of the ramp and on to the floor.
EXTRA SECURE
To offer users of the wheelchair access ramps that extra bit of security we have designed the threshold ramps with 2 fixing bolt holes for fastening to the ground.
The threshold access ramps will take both concrete and tarmac bolts, we advise that the maximum bolt diameter used for installation should be 10mm.
CABLE CHANNEL
The rear of the threshold ramp where the height is 4” has a vertical flat edge, this allows users to push the ramp flush against the step or threshold with no gap present, keeping safety at its highest possible level.
To help keep wires or pipes safe when up against your threshold the ramps feature a handy cable channel with a width of 8cm and a height of 2.1cm.
