The Height Restriction Barrier and Swing Gate combination is a robust solution for controlling access to car parks and restricting vehicle types based on height - It is especially effective in places like country parks, schools, and public car parks with restricted opening hours

Key features include the ability to lock the gate when necessary, providing complete access control - When locked, it blocks all vehicles, while in the open position, it limits entry to low vehicles

This flexibility makes it popular for managing different vehicle heights, including high-sided vehicles and caravans

The product comes in economy and heavy-duty models, with widths ranging from 3 to 9 metres and height options from 1.9 to 2.8 metres - for gates under 5 metres wide, a single-leaf design is available, while wider versions use a double-leaf swing gate

The combination of height restriction and swing gate provides two main operational modes:

  • Height Barrier & Swing Gate Closed: Total lockdown mode, preventing all unauthorised access. Ideal for after-hours security or restricted areas
  • Height Barrier Closed – Swing Gate Open: Allows vehicles of the appropriate height to enter, ensuring smooth traffic flow during operational hours
