Frequently asked questions

How does the lock work?
A key-operated lock at the top of the post holds it either upright to block the bay, or folded flat to release it. Two keys are supplied with every post.

Can I get all my posts opened by the same key?
Yes. Choose 'Identical' at checkout and every post on that order is keyed alike, so one key opens them all - or choose 'Random' if you'd rather each post had its own key.

Do the fixing bolts come with it?
You can choose either way: order 'Excluding Bolts' if you already have your own M16 bolts, or 'Including 2 x Bolts' to get everything you need in one order.

What finishes are available?
As standard: plain galvanised, stainless steel, powder-coated yellow or powder-coated black. We can also powder-coat to a wider RAL range - silver grey, moss green, blue, red or white - just tell us the RAL code you need.

How much effort does it take to fold down?
Very little - the operational lift-up weight is around 4kg, so one person can fold it flat or lock it upright without any tools.

Will it stop a car if left folded down accidentally?
No - when folded flat the post lies close to the ground to let vehicles pass; it only blocks a space when locked upright.

How long is the lead time?
Around 2-3 working days from order confirmation.
