These fixed posts are ideal for complementing removable and retractable posts within our bollard range, seamlessly matching in design and size
These fixed posts find utility across various sectors, blending effortlessly into environments ranging from schools and car dealerships to factories
Primarily, they serve to delineate pedestrian areas from vehicular zones and act as physical barriers to prevent collisions with door frames by forklifts and other vehicles
In car parks, they effectively create barriers between zones, with removable or retractable posts available to create openings as needed.
Installation of fixed bollards is straightforward, with two main methods depending on the chosen fixing type
For Flange Mounted/Surface Mounted Posts:
- Assess the suitability of the surface for fixing the post, ensuring a solid footing with at least 400mm x 400mm x 400mm of concrete
- Drill four fixing holes using the flange as a template, ensuring alignment
- Clear the holes of debris and securely fix the post in place, tightening all bolts
For Cast in/Ragged Posts:
- Excavate a hole with a diameter of 300mm and a depth of 300mm to 500mm, depending on the bollard chosen
- Place the bollard in the centre of the hole and fill with concrete mix, ensuring vertical alignment
- Smooth the concrete surface and allow it to cure for 24 hours
Please note: If eyelets for chain attachment are required, ensure they face the correct direction before mounting the bollard
The surface mount option is suitable for existing concrete hard standings, requiring minimal effort for installation, whereas the ragged option provides a cleaner aesthetic with no visible flanges or bolt heads
Standing at 1000mm from the ground to the top, the 1m fixed post features a welded cap sealing the top securely
While currently available only in galvanised mild steel online, stainless steel and painted finishes are also available upon request
For customers needing chains between bollards, eyelets can be added upon request to maintain aesthetics while enhancing functionality. For more information, please contact our sales department
