Does the Weldon Bench 600mm have a backrest?

No, this is a backless bench. If you want a backrest, the Weldon Steel Seat with Backrest uses the same steel range and fixing options.

How is it fixed to the ground?

Choose concrete-in (ragged) fixing, which needs a 300mm below-ground depth, or bolt-down (flanged) fixing through a 500mm x 75mm x 5mm flange plate.

Do I need to buy fixing bolts separately?

Only if you choose the bolt-down (flanged) variant without bolts included. Each seat needs 8 x 12mm bolts, and a version with the bolts included is also available.

Can I get it in a colour other than galvanised steel?

Yes. As well as standard hot dip galvanised, it is available galvanised and powder coated in a RAL colour of your choice - state the RAL code when you order.

Is it available in stainless steel?

Yes, stainless steel grade 304 is offered as an alternative to galvanised mild steel for a higher-specification finish.

What is the difference between the Weldon Bench 600mm and 300mm?

The 600mm is the wider model in the range at 626mm; the 300mm is the narrower option. Pick the one that suits your seating depth.

Does it need much maintenance?

No. The galvanised or stainless steel construction is built to stay in service for years outdoors with only minimal upkeep, and it is supplied complete with plastic end caps to protect the tube ends.
