Frequently asked questions

How does this compare to the 20-inch and 22-inch chutes?

It's the largest section in the range, with a 760mm top diameter and 1200mm height, for chute runs that need higher capacity per section.

How many fixing frames do I need for a full chute run?

As a guide, fit one Universal Fixing Frame back to the scaffolding for roughly every 10 chute sections - you don't need one per chute.

What does the Bracket & Cable option add?

It adds a second galvanised steel bracket, cable and carabiner clip, useful when you're extending a run with an additional section rather than fitting a single chute.

Can I order it in a colour other than black?

Custom colours can be produced to order, subject to a minimum order quantity - contact us to discuss.

How does the fixing frame attach to my scaffolding?

The frame fixes to two scaffold ledgers, set 300mm apart, using standard double couplers.

How many sections do I need for my scaffold height?

Each section gives an assembled working length of 1100mm with a 100mm overlap - divide your total drop height by that to estimate the number of sections.

Is it heavy to lift and connect on site?

Each section weighs 11kg, so one person can lift and connect it without lifting equipment.
