The A148 is a 13 gauge liner glove with a nitrile foam dotted palm for grip in wet and dry conditions. Rated EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for cut and abrasion resistance and EN 407:2020 for contact heat up to 100°C, and made with a silicone-free coating for paint, electronics and glass work.

What does the dotted nitrile palm add over a plain coating?
The raised dots give extra grip in wet and dry conditions compared with a flat nitrile dip, without adding much bulk to the palm.

Is this glove heat resistant?
The printed EN 407:2020 (X1XXXX) rating covers contact heat resistance up to 100°C - it is not rated for flame, radiant or molten metal exposure.

Why does it matter that the coating is silicone-free?
Silicone can contaminate paint finishes, electronics and glass surfaces, so a silicone-free glove is specified for those environments.

What cut and abrasion protection does it offer?
EN 388:2016+A1:2018 (4X21A) - level 4 abrasion, level 2 tear, level 1 puncture and level A cut resistance on the ISO 13997 blade test.
