How is this different from the reverse-wound version?
This roll unwinds with the adhesive side facing up, so you lay it out and press it down as you go. The reverse-wound version unrolls adhesive-side-down for jobs where you'd rather not step near the sticky face while laying it.

Wool carpets. The adhesive isn't recommended for wool fibres, so check the carpet type before ordering.
