What does RIS-3279-TOM certification mean for this shirt?
RIS-3279-TOM is the rail industry standard for hi-vis workwear. This polo is certified to it, so it is suitable for trackside and other rail environments as well as general site use.

Why do XS and S only meet Class 1 rather than Class 2?
High-visibility class under EN ISO 20471 is set partly by the area of reflective material relative to garment size. On the two smallest sizes that area meets Class 1; from size M upward the shirt meets Class 2.

Does the reflective tape cover the shoulders as well as the chest?
Yes. The retro-reflective tape runs in bands across the chest and up over the shoulders, so the shirt is visible from the front and from above.

How is the sizing measured?
Sizes run XS to 4XL, measured as chest half-measurement laid flat, from 48cm at XS to 72cm at 4XL. Check the measurement against your own chest size before ordering.

Is this a full button placket?
It has a 3-button placket at the neck, with the grey trim carried through to the collar and cuffs.
