What's different between the S388 and the S488?

The S388 is a single-colour (Orange) bib and brace, while the S488 is a two-tone contrast design. Both share the same EN 343 waterproof and EN ISO 20471 hi-vis ratings.

Is it flame resistant?

No. The S388 is waterproof and hi-vis rated but carries no FR or thermal certification - the fabric is rated Not Thermal Rated. For flame-resistant protection, look at our Portwest FR range instead.

How waterproof is the fabric?

It's rated EN 343 Class 4, the top water-resistance class in that standard, equivalent to withstanding 30,000mm of water pressure, with taped seams to stop water getting in at the stitching.
