The GFC1500 is a decorative steel bollard for controlling vehicle access and protecting pedestrians in urban and commercial schemes. What are the eyelets for?

The eyelets let you fit a decorative chain between adjacent bollards, useful for defining a route or adding a visual barrier. Choose no eyelets, one, or two per bollard depending on how you plan to link them.

Can I get extra security on the concrete-in version?

Yes. The concrete-in (ragged) fixing can be specified with a concrete or additional steel core inside the bollard for extra impact resistance, useful where the bollard needs to withstand vehicle contact.

Why choose the removable version over concrete-in or bolt-down?

The removable version sits in a ground socket set 300mm below ground, so it can be lifted out when a space needs to open up for access, such as a loading bay or occasional vehicle route, then refitted afterwards.

How is the bolt-down version fixed to the ground?

It fixes with 3 x M12 expanding bolts into existing hard standing. Order with the bolts included, or without if you already have your own.

What is the cap and ring detail made from?

The cap and two decorative rings are cast iron, welded onto the galvanised steel body, giving the traditional bollard profile.

Can I specify a RAL colour to match our scheme?

Yes. Powder-coated finishes can be ordered to any RAL code, so the bollard can match existing street furniture or branding.

How deep does the concrete-in version need to be set?
