The GFC4000 is a galvanised steel ornamental bollard, 114mm in diameter and 900mm above ground, with a spherical cap and rings of impact-resistant malleable cast iron fitted to the body. It suits parks, pedestrian areas and commercial properties where a decorative bollard also needs to control vehicle access, and concrete-in versions can be reinforced where extra strength is needed.

Which fixing option should I choose?

It depends on the site: concrete-in gives a permanent fixing in a 300mm socket, bolt-down suits an existing hard surface using 3 x M12 expanding bolts, and concrete-in and removable lets the bollard be lifted out when needed, with padlock security available.

Can the bollard be reinforced for extra strength?

Yes. Concrete-in versions can be reinforced with an internal steel core, concrete fill, or both, for extra strength where higher impact resistance is needed.

Are the bolts included with the bolt-down version?

No. The bolt-down version is supplied without bolts - you'll need 3 x M12 expanding bolts, sold separately.

Can these bollards be linked with a chain?

Yes. Optional eyelets are available so a chain can be fitted between bollards for decorative customisation.

What colour finishes are available?

Galvanised is the standard finish. Galvanised and powder-coated is also available, with any RAL colour number specified at order.

Is the removable version secure?

Yes. The concrete-in and removable version is available with padlock security, so it can be lifted out when needed and locked in place the rest of the time.

What is the cap made from?

The spherical cap and rings are high-grade, impact-resistant malleable cast iron, fitted to the galvanised steel body.
