What's the difference between the FB1 and FB14 Fire Brigade padlocks?
The FB1 is the smaller 2 inch grey Fire Brigade padlock and the FB14 is the larger 2.5 inch yellow version. Both let fire crews open the post with a standard Fire Brigade key without cutting anything, and either can be combined with a personal brass padlock for extra security.

Can I use both a Fire Brigade padlock and my own padlock at the same time?
Yes. Several variants combine an FB1 or FB14 padlock with a 40mm brass padlock, so the post is secured to your own key day-to-day while remaining accessible to the fire service in an emergency.

Does the post come with bolts for fixing?
You can choose a variant that includes 2 fixing bolts, or one that excludes them if you already have suitable bolts for your surface.

What colour finishes are available?
The post is supplied galvanised as standard, or powder-coated yellow or black. You can also specify any RAL colour code for a custom match.

How does the post fold down?
Removing the padlock frees the hinge pin at the top of the post, letting it fold flat to the ground for vehicle access. Lock it upright again when the space needs to stay reserved.
