Can it cut aluminium?
No, the MEXCEL is not recommended for aluminium. It is designed for ferrous metals and cast or ductile iron.

Does it need water to cut?
No, it is a dry-cutting blade only - there is no need for a water feed.

How long does it last compared to an abrasive wheel?
It typically outlasts a standard abrasive cutting wheel by around 40 times, so it works out cheaper over the life of the blade despite the higher upfront cost.

Why does the blade have a perforated core?
The perforations reduce heat build-up and speed up cooling, which matters for repeated cuts in a fabrication setting.

Does the bore size change between diameters?
