20" red side entry hopper rubbish scaffold chute for construction waste disposal
The side entry hopper is a loading section for a scaffold rubbish chute system, adding an angled 560mm opening so site teams can feed debris into the chute run from the side or a different level, rather than only from directly above. It is manufactured from durable Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE) in a one-piece moulding, with a galvanised steel bracket and chain fitted as standard to connect to the chute section beneath.
Key features
-
Angled side entry - 560mm top opening tapering to a 400mm base, positioned to the side for loading at height or from a different angle.
-
1100mm length and 9kg weight - light enough for one person to lift and connect.
-
Galvanised steel bracket and chain fitted as standard for a secure connection to the chute below.
-
One-piece MDPE moulding for strength, weather resistance and rigidity outdoors.
-
Stackable design for compact storage and transport between sites.
- Manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality system.
Where it is used
- Sites needing an extra loading point at a different level or angle along a scaffold run
- Demolition and strip-out projects removing debris from upper floors
- Refurbishment and renovation sites running a scaffold rubbish chute
- Multi-storey new-build construction
Compatibility and extending the run
Each assembled chute section provides a 1000mm working length with a 100mm overlap between sections. The 400mm base diameter is compatible with most European chute systems. Straight sections, Y-sections, mid-sections and top hoppers are listed separately if you need to extend the run or add extra loading points.
