How long can I make the shelter?

Lengths run from 1 to 5 metres in 1 metre steps, all at a fixed 3 metre width, so you can size the run to the space you have.

Why choose the galvanised roof over the clear PETG version?

Both share the same galvanised steel frame and dimensions. This version has a solid 1mm galvanised sheet roof and panels for a fully enclosed structure, where the clear PETG version lets daylight through instead.

Is this the complete shelter or just an extension bay?

This is the full, free-standing Dodford shelter. Extension bays for the galvanised version are listed separately if you want to lengthen the covered run later.

What base does it need?

It bolts down onto a concrete base, minimum 400mm cube, which must be in place before installation. The base itself is supplied by others.

Are fixing bolts included?

Each length comes in two versions, one including the fixing bolts and one excluding them, so you can order to match what you already hold on site.

How is the steel protected outdoors?

The mild steel frame and sheet roof are both galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461, the British and European standard for hot-dip galvanised coatings, for long-term corrosion resistance.

What can the Dodford be used for?

It works as a cycle, scooter or trolley shelter, a waiting or passenger shelter, a pay and display point, or an EV charging stand - the enclosed, multi-use design suits all of these.
