This trapeze-profile foam strip push-fits over edges and lips up to 8mm thick, cushioning racking, machinery and low-level obstructions from impact. It is supplied in 1000mm PU foam lengths in two groove depths, cut to size on site with a knife or fine saw.

What thickness of edge or lip will this fit over?

The trapeze groove push-fits over edges up to 8mm thick. Choose the 40/36/8 size for an 18mm groove depth or the 40/80/8 size for a 60mm groove depth, depending on how far the profile needs to reach onto the surface.

Can I cut it to a shorter length?

Yes. Each strip is supplied in 1000mm lengths and can be cut down with a sharp knife or a fine saw blade to suit the exact run you need.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The PU foam is UV stable and rated from -40°C to +90°C, so it holds up both indoors and outside.

Does it need adhesive or fixings to install?

No. The trapeze groove push-fits directly over the edge or lip, so no drilling, screws or adhesive are required.

What is the fire rating?

The foam carries a B2 fire protection classification.

Can the groove width be changed?

The standard groove is 8mm, but wider slot widths can be arranged on request for non-standard edges - ask us for details.

How is it coloured, and will it fade?

The yellow and black striping follows DIN 4844 warning colours and is UV stable, so it will not fade quickly in sunlight.
