It isn't marketed as a potable-water tank - it's built for general storage uses such as valeting, window cleaning and rainwater collection.

What shut-off valve and tap options are available?

Choose a 3/4 inch or 1 inch shut-off valve and add a standard tap kit at checkout, or take the tank with neither fitted.

What's the difference between the vented and non-vented lid?

Both are 9 inch screw-down lids. Choose vented if you want the tank to breathe as it fills and empties, or non-vented if you need a sealed lid.

Can I lift or move the tank when it's part-full?

Yes - two integral handles are moulded into the tank body to help with lifting and repositioning it.

What is the tank made from and how tough is it?

Rotationally moulded MDPE (medium density polyethylene) with a wall thickness of around 6-7mm, giving good impact and frost resistance.
