Will a pressure washer connect straight to the outlet?

The 1.5 inch BSP outlet is pre-fitted and sized to take a pressure washer or tap connection directly, without an extra adaptor in most cases.

Can I choose a bigger lid than the standard one?

Yes. As well as the standard 9 inch vented lid, 14 inch and 16 inch lids are available in vented or non-vented versions.

Is a shut-off valve included, or is it an extra?

A shut-off valve is not fitted as standard. A 3/4 inch or 1 inch shut-off valve can be added as an accessory on the product page.

Is it safe to carry in the back of a van when part-full?

Yes. The integral baffles reduce water movement inside the tank, which is what makes it suitable for transport in a van or trailer rather than only static use.

What is the difference between this and a standard water butt?

This tank is made from MDPE with a larger 1.5 inch outlet built for pressure washer or trade use, whereas a standard water butt typically has a smaller outlet aimed at garden watering.

How much does it weigh when empty?

Empty, it weighs 50kg. It should be positioned on its final base before filling, as a full 750 litre tank is very heavy to move.

Can it be used outdoors all year round?

Yes. It is frost-proof and suitable for both internal and external siting.
