Frequently asked questions

What sizes are available?
Five diameters: 90mm (S), 159mm (L), 194mm (XL), 273mm (XXL) and 323mm (3XL), all 1200mm above ground once installed.

Should I bolt down or concrete in?
Bolt down onto an existing solid surface using the flanged base, or concrete in using the ragged base for a new installation - concrete-in bollards need a 400mm depth.

Are the fixing bolts included?
No, bolts are sold separately. Smaller sizes (S to XXL) take 4 bolts per bollard; the 3XL takes 8.

What's the difference between the two finishes?
The powder-coated finish is for indoor use only; the hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated finish is rated for indoor and outdoor use.

Can the bollard be filled with concrete for extra protection?
The XXL and 3XL sizes take a removable cap, so they can be filled with concrete once installed for additional impact resistance.

What are these bollards used for?
Protecting racking, doorways, machinery, fuel pumps, EV chargers and building corners from forklifts, HGVs, vans and cars.

Where are they made?
In the UK, from top-grade steel.
