The 5mph 750mm Q-Sign puts the red-bordered 5mph roundel (diagram 670) on Melba Swintex's folding plastic A-frame. Moulded from fully recycled polypropylene with a built-in retractable stand, it is free standing, will not rust, and at 7.8kg goes in and out of the van as a single-person lift.

How do I keep it upright in wind?
The Q-Sign has been wind tested and stays put with the appropriate ballast weighting. We supply two options: ready filled sand bags or a dedicated sign and barrier ballast weight that sits on the stand.

Yes. The retractable stand folds the sign completely flat to just 60mm deep, so signs stack for the van between jobs and palletise 30 at a time for bigger moves.

What are the advantages over a metal-framed sign?
The frame is fully recycled polypropylene, so it will not rust, it is non-conductive to lightning, and it has no scrap value - it can be left out overnight without attracting metal theft. There are also no sharp edges.
