Why it works
Built for Tougher Ground
Thicker for harder ground
The 14mm square-section shaft resists bending in stony or compacted ground, where thinner pins can flex.
Secure hold
The shepherd's crook top hooks over fencing or debris netting and holds the line taut under load.
Reusable
Solid steel construction, so pins can be pulled up and reused on the next site.
British made
Manufactured in Britain to a consistent steel specification.
Overview
Heavy Duty Barrier Fencing Pins 1350mm (Pack of 10) - Overview
A thicker, heavier-duty version of our standard barrier fencing pin. The 14mm square-section steel shaft gives extra rigidity when driving into stony, compacted or frozen ground, while the shepherd's crook top holds barrier fencing or debris netting taut along the line.

Frequently asked questions
What makes these different from the standard 1350mm pins?
What makes these different from the standard 1350mm pins?
These are the heavy duty version - a thicker 14mm square-section shaft rather than the standard 10mm round pin, so they resist bending better in stony or compacted ground.
How deep should I drive them in?
How deep should I drive them in?
Drive as much of the 1350mm length in as the ground allows, leaving enough above ground to clear the top of the barrier fencing or debris netting.
Can I reuse the pins?
Can I reuse the pins?
Yes. They are solid steel, so they can be pulled up at the end of a job and used again on the next site.
How many pins are in a pack?
How many pins are in a pack?
Each pack contains 10 pins.
Will the pins rust?
Will the pins rust?
They are supplied in a raw steel finish, so some surface oxidation outdoors is normal. This does not affect strength.
What tools do I need to install them?
What tools do I need to install them?
None. The pointed end is designed for manual installation by hand or with a mallet.
Is there a thinner alternative if I don't need the extra strength?
Is there a thinner alternative if I don't need the extra strength?
Yes - we also stock a standard smooth 1350mm pin at 10mm diameter, and a ribbed 1350mm pin for extra grip in loose or sandy ground.
