Why it works
Built for a Firmer Hold
Extra grip in the ground
The ribbed, deformed-bar shaft bites into the ground harder than a smooth pin, resisting pull-out in loose or sandy conditions.
Quick to install
The pointed end drives in by hand or with a mallet, with no tools needed to fix it in place.
British made
Manufactured in the UK to a consistent steel specification.
Reusable across site set-ups
Solid steel construction means pins can be pulled up at the end of a job and used again.
Overview
Barrier Fencing Pins - Ribbed 1350mm - Overview
Steel ground pins for holding up barrier fencing and debris netting on site. The ribbed, deformed-bar shaft grips harder than a smooth pin in loose or sandy ground, with a shepherd's crook top to keep the fence line secure. Sold in packs of 10, British made.

Frequently asked questions
Why choose the ribbed version over the smooth pin?
Why choose the ribbed version over the smooth pin?
The ribbed, deformed shaft grips harder in loose, sandy or waterlogged ground where a smooth pin can work itself loose over time. If the ground is firm or stony, the standard smooth pin is usually enough.
How far into the ground should these go?
How far into the ground should these go?
Drive as much of the 1350mm length in as the ground allows, leaving enough above ground to clear the top of the barrier fencing or debris netting.
Can the pins be reused on future jobs?
Can the pins be reused on future jobs?
Yes. They are solid steel, so they can be pulled up at the end of a job and used again on the next site.
How many pins come in a pack?
How many pins come in a pack?
Each pack contains 10 pins.
Does the ribbing affect how netting hooks onto the top?
Does the ribbing affect how netting hooks onto the top?
No. The ribbing runs along the shaft only - the shepherd's crook top is smooth, so fencing or netting hooks over it the same way as on the smooth and heavy duty pins.
Will the pins corrode over time?
Will the pins corrode over time?
They are supplied in a raw steel finish, so some surface oxidation outdoors is normal and does not affect strength.
Is this the same as the heavy duty pin?
Is this the same as the heavy duty pin?
No. The heavy duty pin has a thicker 14mm square-section shaft for very hard or frozen ground. This ribbed pin is 12mm round with a deformed surface, giving extra grip without the added weight.
