Covers the raw core
A cut worktop exposes bare chipboard, which swells the first time it gets wet. The cap seals that edge behind aluminium.
Sized for a 600mm worktop
At 630mm it runs the full depth with a little to trim off, rather than leaving a gap at the back.
Follows the bullnose round
A standard-profile cap on a bullnose worktop leaves a step at the front corner. This one carries the curve through.
Pre-drilled and cut to fit
Screw holes are already there and the extra length gets trimmed at the wall end on site.

Getting the profile right is the whole job on an end cap. A bullnose worktop has a rounded front edge, and a standard-profile cap fitted against it leaves a visible step at the front corner - the first thing anyone sees when they walk past the end of a run. This cap follows the bullnose round. It is the same 4mm aluminium, the same 630mm length and the same fitting method as the standard version, but it is not interchangeable with it.
