Why it works

Quick to link, easy to store

Links without tools

Hook and eye joints connect barrier to barrier in seconds, in straight runs or full 90 degree corners.

Stacks 40 high

360 degree swivel feet fold flat so the barriers stack 40 units high on a pallet for compact storage.

Recyclable HDPE

Moulded from virgin HDPE with feet from recycled material, and fully recyclable at end of life.

Choice of feet for stability

Standard, anti-trip and tuff feet let you balance light weight, trip safety and wind resistance.

Colours and branding

Grey, black and orange as standard, with vinyl branding, embossing and custom colours to order.
Overview

Pedestrian Crowd Control Barrier - Overview

The Pedestrian Crowd Control Barrier, or Boss Barrier, is a 2 metre plastic barrier for crowd and pedestrian management at events, sport and venues. Moulded in the UK from virgin HDPE, it is a one-man lift, links hook to eye without tools, and folds flat on 360 degree swivel feet to stack 40 high. It has no Chapter 8 reflective strip, so it is not for public highways.

Frequently asked questions

Are these barriers Chapter 8 compliant?

No. The crowd control barrier has no reflective Chapter 8 sleeve, so it is not approved for use on public roads or highways. For roadside work choose a Chapter 8 barrier with the reflective strip.

How do the barriers connect?

They link with a simple hook and eye on each end, so you can build straight runs or turn full 90 degree corners without any tools, and they cope with uneven ground.

How heavy is one barrier?

Weight depends on the feet: about 9.1kg with anti-trip feet, 10.5kg with standard feet and up to 14.9kg with tuff feet. All are a one-man lift.

What is the difference between the foot options?

Standard feet suit most events. Anti-trip feet have one shorter side to reduce trip hazards. Tuff feet are double size for extra weight and stability on windy sites.

Can I have them in a custom colour or with branding?

Yes. Grey, black and orange are standard. Vinyl branding starts at 10 barriers, embossing at 120 and a full colour change at 150.

How many fit on a pallet?

The barriers fold flat on their swivel feet and stack 40 high, so a full double pallet holds 40 barriers.

What are they used for?

Crowd and pedestrian control at concerts, festivals, sporting events, marathons, schools and public gatherings, plus general site segregation away from live traffic.
