Why choose photoluminescent over a standard material?
Why choose photoluminescent over a standard material?
Photoluminescent PVC absorbs ambient light while the power is on and releases a visible glow if the lighting fails, which suits wards, stairwells and any area where signage needs to stay readable during an outage.
Does the material affect how long the sign lasts outdoors?

Rigid PVC, foam PVC and vinyl composite are all suited to exterior use. Self-adhesive vinyl also works outdoors provided it is fixed to a smooth, clean, non-porous surface.
What does a left-pointing arrow tell someone in an emergency?
What does a left-pointing arrow tell someone in an emergency?
It confirms the fire exit route turns or continues to the left from that point, so occupants should follow the corridor or turn left at the next junction rather than continuing straight ahead.
