Why it works

The wording-only design reads clearly at typical corridor and doorway viewing distances.
Fixes your way
Self-adhesive, drill-hole, horizontal channel or vertical channel fixing covers walls, posts, barriers and gates.
Confirms the exit
Plain "Fire exit" wording identifies the route without needing a directional arrow.
Photoluminescent option
Charges under ambient light and stays visible if the power fails.
Indoor and outdoor use
Foam PVC and vinyl composite options are durable enough for exterior use as well as indoor fitting.

Frequently asked questions
Does this sign have a pictogram or arrow?
Does this sign have a pictogram or arrow?
No - this version carries the wording "Fire exit" only, in white on green. If you need a directional arrow or the running-man pictogram, those are separate listings in the range.
What sizes are available?
What sizes are available?
Three sizes: 300mm x 100mm, 450mm x 150mm and 600mm x 200mm, so you can match the sign to the mounting surface and how far away it needs to be read from.
Which material should I choose for an exterior fire escape route?
Which material should I choose for an exterior fire escape route?
Foam PVC, rigid PVC and vinyl composite are all suited to exterior use; self-adhesive vinyl is best kept to a smooth, protected surface.
How is it fixed in place?
How is it fixed in place?
Self-adhesive vinyl sticks directly to a flat surface, the other materials come with drill holes, and vinyl composite also offers a horizontal or vertical channel for posts and bars such as car park barriers.
Why choose the photoluminescent version?
Why choose the photoluminescent version?
It charges under normal lighting and keeps glowing if the power fails, useful anywhere the sign needs to stay visible during an evacuation.
Can I fix this sign to a post or barrier rather than a wall?
Can I fix this sign to a post or barrier rather than a wall?
Yes - choose vinyl composite with horizontal channel fixing for a vertical post, or vertical channel fixing for a horizontal bar.
Is this the same sign as the Fire Exit arrow versions?
Is this the same sign as the Fire Exit arrow versions?
No - this is the plain wording-only sign. The arrow versions in the range combine the same green and white colours with a directional pictogram for routes that turn a particular way.
