GRP Anti-Slip Stair Nosing Covers - 55mm x 55mm
A moulded fibreglass (GRP) stair nosing that fits over the front edge of a step to add grip and clearly mark the edge. The 55mm x 55mm profile covers the top of the tread and the front of the riser, and the resin-coated gritted surface gives high slip resistance in wet, dry, oily and greasy conditions. It fixes to concrete, metal or timber steps and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
Key features
- 55mm x 55mm two-sided profile that wraps the step edge onto the riser
- Resin-coated gritted surface, slip resistant to level 3 and tested to BS 7976-2
- 4mm thick glass-reinforced polyester - non-conductive, chemical and UV resistant
- Rated from -50C to +110C with a 10+ year design life
- Screw-down or bond-down fixing, cut to length with a +/- 3mm tolerance
- Four colours: yellow, black, white, and black and yellow hazard stripe
Where it is used
- Schools, hospitals and public buildings with high-footfall stairways
- Warehouses, factories and industrial walkways
- External steps, ramps and fire escapes exposed to weather
