No. These are dry polishing pads and must not be used with water - for a high-gloss wet finish you need a dedicated wet polishing pad instead.

Not directly. Dry pads retain dust as you work, which limits the finish to a satin level rather than high-gloss - move to wet pads for the final gloss stage.

Yes, for the best result - each grit removes the scratch pattern left by the one before it, working from 50 grit down to 3000 grit.
