Road Narrows Left quick-fit sign face - Diagram 517L
The Road Narrows Left sign face warns drivers of a lane restriction where the road narrows from the left, and is used to set out temporary traffic management on highways and street works. It is a face-only board that drops straight into a quick-fit frame, printed on RA1 Class 1 engineering-grade reflective on a 3mm plastic backing, and conforms to Chapter 8 and The Red Book. Frames are sold separately.

Fixing and compatibility
This is the sign face only. It fixes into a quick-fit frame using 300mm hole centres, so it suits our mini quick-fit frames. It is commonly paired with the Single File Traffic supplementary plate (Diagram 518) fitted below, and set out alongside a Men at Work sign. Refer to the current Chapter 8 guidance for correct placement.
