The Single File Traffic plate (Diagram 518) is a face-only supplementary board fitted beneath a Road Narrows sign to tell drivers to proceed in single file. Printed on RA1 Class 1 engineering-grade reflective on a 3mm plastic backing, it conforms to Chapter 8 and The Red Book and is made in the UK. Quick-fit frames are sold separately.

No. Diagram 518 is a supplementary plate, designed to sit beneath a warning sign - usually Road Narrows Left or Right (Diagram 517). On its own it gives drivers no warning context, so always pair it with the main face.
