A Versatile Barrier System
The Manta Barrier's versatility makes it ideal for numerous applications. Its modular system enables multiple units to connect seamlessly, creating continuous barriers perfect for delineating pedestrian walkways and vehicle access routes.
Measuring 1.5m x 42cm x 50cm, the barriers are easy to handle and set up, with the added capability of 180° rotation to accommodate complex layouts. This adaptability suits a range of scenarios, from construction sites to managing traffic flow in car parks.
Stackable for efficient transport and storage, the Manta Barrier minimizes logistical challenges and reduces overall costs.
Crash-Tested for Safety
Safety is a primary focus in the Manta Barrier's design. It has undergone extensive crash testing, achieving an “A” rating in ASI and THIV assessments, showcasing its exceptional ability to absorb impact energy and reduce damage to vehicles and the barrier.
Successfully passing the British Standard crash course W7 of BS EN 1317:2010, the Manta Barrier is capable of withstanding 1,300 kg impacts at speeds over 50 mph.
This robust performance makes it ideal for high-speed roads and traffic-heavy areas, ensuring unmatched protection and significantly enhancing on-site safety.
Wind-Tunnel Tested
The Manta Barrier has been rigorously wind-tunnel tested to guarantee stability under extreme weather conditions.
Both standalone and with fence panels attached, it maintains an “A” rating, capable of withstanding winds up to 74 mph without displacement. With a pedestrian barrier, it endures winds up to 60 mph, and 44 mph with an anti-climb mesh fence.
This performance ensures that the Manta Barrier remains secure and effective, providing reliable protection for workforces and pedestrians in challenging environments.
Delivery and Installation
The Manta Barrier is designed for ease of installation, with each unit easily assembled and connected to form a robust protective system.
We offer nationwide delivery and installation services, with barriers stacked on pallets of six units for convenient handling. Unloading is simplified using a forklift, and our detailed specification sheet provides instructions on dismantling, moving, stacking, and packing the barriers.
This streamlined process ensures efficient deployment, saving time and resources while enhancing site safety.
