Does this hook stick out from the wall, or sit flat?
It is an angled bracket - the fixing face sits flat against the wall or ceiling and the 255mm arm carries the hook clear of the surface, giving room to hang bulkier items.

What is the maximum load it is rated for?
30kg, provided it is fixed into a suitable structural point such as a stud, masonry or a solid ceiling joist.

How does this compare to the smaller 115 x 160 x 100mm version?

Can I fix it to a plasterboard stud wall?
Yes, provided you fix through the pre-drilled holes into the stud itself rather than the plasterboard alone - use fixings rated for the 30kg load.

Is the whole hook red, or just part of it?
Only the lower hook section is red rubberised. The mounting arm is bare galvanised steel.

Will the steel arm rust if it is used outdoors?
