Sealing the cut edge
Trim colour is the one decision on this page that is not about fit. Black reads as a deliberate dark line at the end of a run, which works against a dark worktop or dark units. Satin silver disappears against light laminates, stainless splashbacks and the metal edging on most commercial kitchen fittings. Everything else about it is the same as the black: 12mm standard profile, 630mm long, 4mm aluminium, for 30mm and 40mm worktops.
