Why it works

Why choose the cam buckle system

GS certified

Independently tested and GS certified for quality and safety assurance.

Pull-and-lock cam buckle

A simple pull mechanism grips and locks the webbing - no ratchet handle needed, so it is quick to tension and release.

Endless loop, no lost parts

One continuous loop of webbing feeds through the buckle and back on itself, with no separate hook to lose, snag or wear out.

Gentle on the load

Cam buckle tension is applied by hand rather than a ratchet's mechanical force, so it suits loads that could be marked or crushed by higher tension.
Overview

25mm Cam Buckle with Endless Strap - Overview

A lightweight tie-down strap for general load restraint, using a cam buckle rather than a ratchet mechanism. The webbing forms a continuous loop, so it wraps around the load and feeds back through the buckle without a separate hook. Available in 3m, 5m and 7m lengths.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a cam buckle strap and a ratchet strap?

A cam buckle uses hand tension only - pull the webbing through to tighten and lift the cam to release. A ratchet strap uses a lever mechanism to apply much higher tension. Cam buckles suit lighter loads; use a ratchet strap for heavier or more rigid cargo.

Is 750kg the safe working load, or the break strength?

750kg is the break strength recorded during testing to EN 12195-2, not the safe working load. Always work well within this figure and never load a strap close to its break strength.

Can I use it for lifting?

No. It is designed for load restraint only, not for lifting or hoisting.

How does the endless loop work without a hook?

The webbing forms one continuous loop. Wrap it around the load or anchor point, feed the free end back through the cam buckle, and pull to tension - there is no separate hook to attach.

Which length should I choose?

It comes in 3m, 5m and 7m. Pick a length that lets the strap wrap around your load with enough left over to pass through the buckle and tension comfortably - too short and it will not reach, too long leaves excess webbing to secure.

What is the webbing made from?

Polyester webbing, chosen for its strength and low stretch under load.

Will it mark or damage softer cargo?

A cam buckle applies steady hand tension rather than a ratchet's mechanical force, so it is a gentler hold - padding is still recommended for delicate items.
