COBAGrip Anti-Slip GRP Stair Tread Covers - Overview
COBAGrip stair tread covers wrap over the whole step and onto the riser edge, giving full anti-slip coverage rather than just a nosing strip. GRP with a silicon carbide grit surface, tested to DIN 51130 R13 and BS 7976-2, they come in black and white or black and yellow and pair with COBAGrip floor sheets for a matching surface across steps and landings.

What makes this different from a stair nosing strip?
This cover wraps over the whole tread and onto the riser edge, so the full step gets anti-slip protection rather than just the front 55mm. A narrower nosing-only version is also available if you don't need full coverage.

Yes. The temperature range is -50C to +90C and the GRP surface is unaffected by rain, ice or snow - it's tested to DIN 51130 R13 and BS 7976-2 for slip resistance in wet conditions.

Black and yellow comes in 0.75m, 1m, 1.5m, 2m and 3m lengths; black and white runs from 1m to 3m. Both are 345mm deep with a 55mm nosing edge.

It can be bonded or screwed directly to the existing step surface. GRP fixing glue and screw fixings are available separately.
