Frequently asked questions

Will this fit my cut-off saw?

The lance and hose connector are designed for wet-cutting with cut-off saws, disc cutters and masonry saws that take an external water feed. Check your saw's water inlet before ordering.

How do I build up pressure in the tank?

Fill the tank with water, close the lid, and pump the handle until the tank feels firm before opening the trigger valve on the lance.

Is it safe to open once it's pressurised?

Yes. The automatic pressure relief valve lets you de-pressurise the tank safely before removing the lid.

How long is the hose?

There's a 3 metre coiled hose from the tank plus a 1.3 metre hose and lance, giving a working reach of around 4.3 metres.

Can I carry it hands-free?

Yes. It has an adjustable shoulder strap and a moulded carry handle, so you can wear it or carry it depending on the job.

What is the tank made from?

A durable HDPE (polyethylene) tank, built for repeated site use.

Does this help with HSE dust control requirements?

Wet-cutting is one of the control measures HSE guidance recommends for reducing respirable dust from cutting and grinding, and this bottle gives you a portable water supply for that.
