Clear signage at the sprinkler stop valve

Marked and worded for clarity

The red panel combines pre-printed "Sprinkler stop valve" text with a flame symbol, so the valve is identified without guessing.

Fixes your way

Self-adhesive, drill holes, horizontal channel or vertical channel mounting covers walls, posts, barriers and gates.

Marks a critical isolation point

Signage clearly marks the sprinkler stop valve so staff and the fire service can isolate the system quickly if needed.

Rigid PVC, foam PVC and vinyl composite options are all suited to exterior fixing as well as indoor use.

Visible without power

The photoluminescent variant absorbs ambient light through the day and stays visible if the power fails.

Frequently asked questions

What does a sprinkler stop valve sign mark?

It marks the location of the stop valve for a building's sprinkler system, so staff and the fire service can find and operate it quickly if the system needs isolating.

Why does the sign carry text as well as a symbol?

The pre-printed "Sprinkler stop valve" wording removes any doubt about what the sign is marking, alongside the flame symbol that flags it as fire-related.

What sizes are available?

Three sizes: 150mm x 200mm, 200mm x 300mm or 300mm x 400mm, from a compact panel through to one that reads clearly from further away.

Which material suits an exterior wall?

Foam PVC, vinyl composite and self-adhesive vinyl are all suitable for exterior fixing; rigid PVC and the photoluminescent option are best used indoors or under cover.

How is the sign fixed in place?

Self-adhesive vinyl sticks directly to a flat surface. The other materials come with drill holes, or as a horizontal or vertical channel for mounting on posts, barriers or gates.

Who needs to know where the sprinkler stop valve is?

Facilities managers, fire safety officers and any contractor working near the sprinkler system need to know its location in case it has to be isolated.

Is marking the sprinkler stop valve a legal requirement?

Clear marking of the stop valve is standard fire safety practice and this sign is designed to meet that need; check your fire risk assessment for what applies on your site.
