Yes. The post has an integral lock and locks securely in both positions - upright to block the space, and folded flat to the ground when the bay is in use.
How does the Fire Brigade padlock work?
How does the Fire Brigade padlock work?
The hinge pin that holds the post to its base plate is removable and secured with a Fire Brigade padlock (sold separately as FB1 grey or FB14 yellow). Removing the padlock lets emergency services take the post out of its base entirely for full access.

Galvanised suits most outdoor sites and is the lightest at 6kg. Stainless steel grade 304 (5kg) gives a higher-end finish with strong corrosion resistance. Galvanised and powder-coated is available in yellow or black, or you can specify your own RAL code for a custom colour.
