Why it works
What you get for the money
Understood as keep clear
A red floor area in front of a fire point or a panel is harder to ignore than a sign nobody looks up at.
Single pack, quick dry
Nothing to mix and no pot life to race, so a floor can be coated and back in use without a two-day shutdown.
Abrasion, impact and chemical resistance
Rated against solvents, salt and water as well as wear, which is what separates an industrial floor coating from a garage floor paint.
Brush or roller
No spray kit, no masking off half a building - it goes on with what most maintenance teams already own.
Overview
Keep out, keep clear
A red floor area is understood as keep clear without a word on it, and that is exactly what is wanted in front of a fire point, an electrical panel or an emergency exit. Those are the places that get blocked by a pallet on a busy day, and a painted floor is far harder to ignore than a sign at head height that nobody is looking at. Because it is a full floor coating rather than a marking paint, it survives being walked on, driven over and cleaned.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use it outside?
Can I use it outside?
Only where there is a waterproof membrane under the slab. Without one, moisture comes up through the concrete and lifts the paint, which shows as blistering and then flaking. If you are unsure what is under your slab, find out before you buy.
How do I apply it?
How do I apply it?
Brush or roller. It is a single pack paint, so there is nothing to mix and no pot life to work to, which is why it suits a floor that has to go back into use quickly.
What will it stand up to?
What will it stand up to?
It is formulated to resist abrasion, impact and exposure to solvents, salt and water, which covers most of what a warehouse, workshop or plant room floor sees.
How much floor will 5 litres cover?
How much floor will 5 litres cover?
That depends heavily on the surface. A sealed, previously painted floor takes far less than bare or porous concrete, which can absorb the first coat almost entirely. For a job of any size, work out your area and order a spare tin rather than stopping halfway.
Does the floor need preparing?
Does the floor need preparing?
Yes. It needs to be clean, dry, sound and free of oil, grease, dust and any loose or flaking previous coating. Floor paint fails at the bond far more often than it fails in the film.
What RAL is it?
What RAL is it?
No RAL is published for this colour. The grey in this range is RAL 7001 and the yellow is RAL 1028, but the others are not specified. If you are matching to a drawing or an existing scheme, ask us and we will check with the supplier before you order five litres.
