A diagonal arrow that removes any doubt, in five materials

Legible from a distance

The green-and-white colours and diagonal up-right arrow stay readable across a corridor, stairwell or open yard.

Fixing to suit the surface

Self-adhesive, drill-hole, horizontal channel or vertical channel fixing covers walls, posts and horizontal bars alike.

Removes doubt over the route

The diagonal arrow confirms the evacuation route runs ahead before bearing right, keeping movement orderly under pressure.

Stays visible in a power cut

The photoluminescent option charges under normal lighting and glows if the power fails, suited to escape-route signage.

Built for inside or out

Foam PVC and vinyl composite withstand exterior fitting as well as indoor use.

Frequently asked questions

What does the diagonal up-right arrow mean?

It shows the evacuation route continues ahead from this point and then bears right - typically fitted where a corridor meets a ramp, stairwell or angled junction on the way to the fire assembly point.

How is this different from the straight right-arrow sign?

The straight right arrow marks a route turning directly right at that spot. This diagonal version is for a route that carries on ahead first, such as up a short ramp or stairs, before bearing right.

Which size should I fit?

150mm x 200mm suits a doorway or corridor viewed close up. 200mm x 300mm works well outdoors or in larger rooms. 300mm x 400mm is for long sightlines or higher mounting points.

Can this sign be fitted outside?

Yes - rigid PVC, foam PVC and vinyl composite are all suitable for exterior use. Vinyl composite holds up best in exposed or high-traffic spots.

Is the photoluminescent version necessary?

It is worth it on routes through stairwells, plant rooms or areas that could lose lighting - it charges under normal light and stays visible if the power cuts out.

What fixing comes with each material?

Self-adhesive vinyl has a hi-tack backing built in. Rigid PVC, foam PVC and photoluminescent PVC are fixed with drill holes. Vinyl composite can be ordered with drill holes, horizontal channel or vertical channel fixing.

Do I need more than one directional sign for my evacuation route?

Only where the route changes direction more than once - check your fire risk assessment and fit a sign at each turn so the whole route to the assembly point is marked.
