Why it works
Marks a sliding exit door in either direction
Reads at a distance
The green and white safe condition colours and reversible arrow are clear across a room or corridor.
Choice of fixing
Self-adhesive, drill-hole, horizontal channel or vertical channel fixing options suit most mounting surfaces.
One sign, either direction
The reversible arrow means a single sign marks a door sliding left or right, so you don't need to stock two versions.
Stays visible in the dark
The photoluminescent option charges under ambient light and keeps showing the route if the power cuts out.
Five materials to choose from
From flexible self-adhesive vinyl to durable vinyl composite, the material can be matched to the mounting surface and how much wear it will take.
Overview
Slide to Open (Reversible) Sign - Overview
The Slide to Open (Reversible) Sign is a safe condition sign for a door or access point that slides open, with a reversible arrow that can be mounted to point left or right - so one sign covers both directions. It suits hotels, warehouses, apartment blocks, commercial kitchens and laboratories wherever a sliding fire door or access point needs pointing out during an evacuation.

What sizes does this sign come in?
What sizes does this sign come in?
Two sizes: 100mm x 100mm and 200mm x 200mm, so you can match the sign to the door and how far away people will be reading it from.
Which material should I pick for a door that gets a lot of daily traffic?
Which material should I pick for a door that gets a lot of daily traffic?
Vinyl composite is the most durable of the five materials on offer and copes well with knocks and damp, making it a good choice for a busy sliding door.
Does the photoluminescent version need mains power?
Does the photoluminescent version need mains power?
No. It charges from ambient light in the room and glows on its own if the lighting fails, so there's nothing to wire in.
Can I fix this sign to a post rather than a wall?
Can I fix this sign to a post rather than a wall?
Yes, on the 200mm vinyl composite version, which is also available with horizontal or vertical channel fixing for posts and bars; the other materials fix by self-adhesive backing or drill holes to a flat surface.
Is this the same as the Slide to Open Left Arrow or Right Arrow signs?
Is this the same as the Slide to Open Left Arrow or Right Arrow signs?

What colour is the sign?
