Quick to install

The pointed end drives straight into the ground by hand, so a pin goes in without tools.

Frequently asked questions

How deep do these pins need to go into the ground?

Drive as much of the 1350mm length in as the ground allows. Leave enough below ground to hold the pin firm, and enough above ground to clear the top of the barrier fencing or debris netting.

What is the difference between the smooth and ribbed versions?

This is the smooth-shaft version. We also stock a ribbed 1350mm pin, which grips harder in loose or sandy ground - see the related product for that option.

Can these pins be reused?

Yes. They are solid steel, so pins can be pulled up at the end of a job and reused on the next site.

How many pins come in a pack?

Each pack contains 10 pins.

Will the pins rust?

They are supplied in a raw steel finish, so some surface oxidation is normal in wet conditions. This does not affect strength or performance.

What is the pin top designed to hold?

The shepherd's crook top is shaped to hook over and hold barrier fencing mesh or debris netting, keeping the line taut.

Do I need any tools to install them?

No. The pointed end is designed for manual installation by hand or with a mallet.
