The Caxton is a free-standing, one-sided cycle shelter with a curved galvanised steel roof, built from mild steel and galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461. Available in four lengths from 2m to 5m, holding 5 to 12 bikes depending on the length chosen, and shipped flat-packed for on-site assembly. Extension bays are available separately to add further capacity.

How many bikes will this hold?
Between 5 and 12, depending on the length you choose - 5 for the 2m, 8 for the 3m, 10 for the 4m, or 12 for the 5m.

Is the roof flat or curved?
Curved. It is a curved galvanised steel sheet roof, taller at the front (2130mm) than the rear (1530mm).

Can I add more capacity later?
Yes. Extension bays are available separately and can be added to an existing Caxton shelter to increase bike capacity.

Do I need to buy fixing bolts separately?
Each length comes as two options, one excluding fixing bolts and one including them, so choose whichever matches what you already have on site.

What does 'galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461' mean?
It is the British Standard for hot-dip galvanising, meaning the steel frame and roof are coated for long-term corrosion resistance outdoors.

Is it open-sided or enclosed?
Open-sided. It is a free-standing, one-sided shelter designed for straightforward access rather than a fully enclosed compound.
