Heavy-duty load restraint, certified strength

Certified to EN 12195-2

5000kg lashing capacity and 7500kg break strength, tested to the European standard for load-restraint webbing.

Ratchet tensioning

The two-part ratchet assembly gives controlled tensioning and release without any separate tools.

Spring-gated snap hooks

A snap hook at each end connects quickly to trailer rails and anchor points and stays shut under load.

8m strap length

Covers long or awkward loads in one continuous run without joining straps.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the 5000kg LC and 7500kg BS ratings?

LC (5000kg) is the lashing capacity - the safe working limit for load restraint under EN 12195-2. BS (7500kg) is the break strength recorded during testing. Always work to the lower LC figure, not the break strength.

What type of hooks does it use, and are they suitable for trailer rails?

A snap hook at each end. The spring-gated design closes securely around trailer rails, chassis rails and anchor points and will not shake loose in transit.

How long is the strap once it is ratcheted up?

8m of webbing split across a fixed and a moving section either side of the ratchet, so usable length reduces slightly as the strap is tensioned - allow for this when measuring a load.

Is this strap heavy enough for HGV and heavy plant loads?

Yes. At 50mm wide with a 5000kg lashing capacity, it is built for heavy industrial load-restraint work rather than light domestic tie-down.

How do I release the tension once the load is secured?

Lift the release catch on the ratchet handle and open it fully - this disengages the pawl and lets the webbing feed out under control.

What is the webbing made from?

Heavy-duty polyester webbing in orange, chosen for its strength and low stretch under EN 12195-2 testing.

Can I use it for marquees or temporary structures?

Yes, alongside vehicle and site load restraint, it is also suited to marquee and shelter construction.
